Welcome to EG Mentoring

There are several factors that contribute to a child’s academic success and it is important to address adolescent learning from a whole child perspective. Here at EG Mentoring, we are unlike any other academic center in these regards. As a solo “tutorer” I of course want to see students excel and thoroughly understand their courses. However, I believe to have the best academic grasp, it is imperative adolescents have other skills on deck. With this approach, students and I will have conversations surrounding confidence, social skills, motivation, hobbies, and extracurriculars. 

 

The issue with many academic and college preparatory programs is their perspective is short-lived. Several programs guide students through current tasks at hand without supporting the necessary skills for continued success. Preparing for college is one thing, but I want to ensure your student continues to excel into college and beyond. Now is a crucial time to establish the grit that will bolster students’ futures. 

 

Each learning session will also be customized, unique to EG Mentoring. We will go at your child’s pace and cater to their ideal learning style, while also staying disciplined around a custom learning schedule.
