Hello

My name is Liz Gilligan and I am the founder of EG Mentoring. I am a Northern California local, growing up in Cameron Park and moving to Davis where I attended University of California, Davis immediately out of high school. In 2021, I graduated from the university where I studied Psychology and Human Rights. 

 

Upon exiting college and in the years that followed, I felt lost and unsure on what the next steps should be. I struggled with no longer being a student, an identity that I had become incredibly comfortable in. With this experience, I realized it was imperative I support students in their grade school years to establish a well-rounded identity. Upon this realization, I founded EG Mentoring - a program that uplifts students academically, socially, and personally. 

 

I currently continue to reside in Davis, California, living with my ten year old Australian Shepherd named Lulu. I enjoy walking, reading, and hanging out with my college best friends that mainly reside in the big city (San Francisco).
